If you came up in the 90s, Double Stamp is built to land right in the nostalgia. The place is themed around it, floppy disks and POGs and all, and the old-school Nintendo consoles actually work, so you can play a round of Super Mario while you drink a beer brewed on-site a few steps away. The taps rotate constantly and cover real range: crisp lagers and IPAs next to adjunct stouts and fruited sours, much of it made with locally sourced ingredients. There's a food menu too, and since the brewery sits inside Holland Park, Home Team BBQ and Greektown Express are right next door when you want a bigger meal around your flight. The room runs from an L-shaped bar and indoor tables out to a patio and an upstairs open-air rooftop deck. Weeknights bring trivia, weekends often bring live local music, and both dogs and kids are welcome, which makes it work as easily for a family afternoon as a Friday night out. Regulars keep coming back for two things: bartenders who get singled out by name in review after review, and a draft list that's never quite the same twice.
