Gorgeous seat at the window, extremely calm and high style room, comfy seating, and an attentive staff make this resto a classic. Lunch today from the summerlicious menu was terrific. Plated beautifully, interesting tastes, textures, colours, and choices. I had a mushroom soup and loved the rich flavour and lovely texture, next the tuna was heavenly. A bit too soupy for my taste, after a soup, but gorgeous flavour. To finish, I kept it simple with a cheese plate. Lovely. Can't recommend the experience more highly.
High-end dining experience on the 54th floor, overlooking the city. Really amazing view to enjoy over dinner, especially for a first time trip to Toronto. We were treated well by attentive staff, and I felt welcomed. I loved hearing about the dish preparations and details, as the food arrived at the table. Many people were dressed up or celebrating special occasions. The ambience was cool, clean and aesthetically pleasing. We normally don’t order dessert but did due to the fact the food was delicious. We enjoyed the veal tartare (amazingly smoky & savored every bite), burrata (don’t forget the mini mushrooms so delicate and lovely), scallop (unique presentation), halibut (like butt-ah) and lamb (seasoned perfectly along with the pasta side dish, couldn’t get enough). White chocolate cheesecake and sugar tarte were solid desserts that were flavorful and not too sweet. Old fashioned varieties and other cocktails were very tasty as was everything we ordered the entire night. Highly recommend this spot!
A great visit for the views alone. Food was good but nothing really stood out for me. Steak was cooked perfectly for medium rare, but it lacked flavor. Would definitely recommend this for a summerlicious, but I don't know if I would go again
Outstanding restaurant for an enchanting evening. The view is simply phenomenal. A smorgasbord for the senses. Michelle, our server, expertly blended professionalism with approachability. Hats off to her. The food was fine but nothing knocked our socks off, although there was a traditional pie dessert that was sublime. The lamb and halibut were well prepared but not exceptional. That said I would return to Canoe. On balance it is a restaurant you do not want to miss.
Kristen in the front and Jesús at the table were extremely helpful as the rest of the staff. I came here with family (3 adults, myself, and a toddler) They were accommodating, the food was delicious. I came here as a celebration for my graduation, and they had customized notes and all staff had known about it and congratulated me. It's my family's first time in Toronto, and they loved it here.
