I had a fantastic dining experience at Botanist. Every dish was exceptional, especially the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio. It was absolutely divine and the highlight of the evening. The Burrata di Puglia, Steamed Sablefish, and Dry Aged Duck Breast were all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. A little surprise was the sourdough. It deserves more hype because it was honestly so delicious 😋 I also tried the alcohol-free First Bloom, which was so refreshing. The service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel truly special. Already looking forward to my next visit!

i was really impressed with the aesthetic and decor, they put a lot of attention to detail with sticking to the theme and making the atmosphere relevant to the theme and menu. i also loved how nice the menus where!! restaurants don’t typically invest much money into the physical menus but they were such good quality and so cute!!! the food was absolutely delicious. we got the lamb skewer. the hallumi starter and the pork belly starter… yum!!!!! for drinks i got a yummy strawberry cider and my husband got the tomato ceaser plant pot cocktail .. we didn’t really rate the cocktail , it was a lot expensive and the amount of actual drink you get is very little, mostly ice! that would be my only complaint as our overall experience was very impressive.

We were served by a friendly and professional waiter (Chris) after being greeted by lovely hosting staff. He was so fun when he came to the table, and knew about everything that was put on our table. Really made the experience special for all of us. The food was amazing. We were all celebrating a birthday and a reunion and got a bday dessert for the table. Accommodated amazingly to gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions. It was Canada day and we were also given complimentary welcome drinks, I loved them! Also had amazing mocktails and made a mocktail welcome drink!

Service from the first interaction was spectacular! Came to the restaurant straight from the airport, so had my carry-on and backpack with me. Arrived a bit earlier than my reservation time, so the hostess asked me to take a seat in the front lounge area while my table was being set up. She asked if I wanted a Welcome Drink of sparkling wine, but I let her know that I don't drink, so she assured me that there were other options for me since Brunch comes with two drinks. A few minutes later, she came back and asked if she could check my bags in for me, which was so helpful!!! I was then taken to my table and warmly greeted by Jess. She explained that there were two options for the Brunch menu -- 2 or 3 courses. She then asked what drink I would like and when I mentioned that I don't drink alcohol nor anything carbonated, she mentioned that she could get a mocktail without soda or I could get coffee/tea/juice instead. I was already ready to order having taken a look at the menu before my visit, so she promptly punched it in, and my first course came out soon after. Beef Tartare was a good portion and tasty. The lobster in the Benedict was cooked right! Not rubbery at all and egg was the right amount of runny. The dessert was also not too heavy, so a great way to end off the meal, alongside the green tea I ordered. Did not feel awkward or out of place as a solo dinner. There was also a DJ playing music the whole time, so it made my overall dining experience an excellent one.

Came here for our anniversary and enjoyed a lovely experience for lunch! We had their lunch 2 course city set, and the squid appetizer was flavourful and tender. The salmon was perfectly cooked, not dry at all, and flaked apart easily without any resistance. The flank steak was an excellent medium rare, with good flavour and chew, though if you generally prefer more tender cuts of meat then flank steak might be a little tougher for your taste. A wonderful atmosphere paired with great service and excellent food! Glad to have had the chance to celebrate our anniversary here!
