I’m extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Ally Building Solutions, the warranty company working with D.R. Horton. I reported multiple defective tile issue's in my new home, and while they initially responded, they quickly stopped making any effort to resolve the issue. After that, I called and left multiple messages over several weeks with their warranty manager Jeremy— with no response whatsoever. No call backs and no resolution. It’s unacceptable for a company that claims to support builders and homeowners to completely ignore warranty issues like this. What’s worse is that they act like they care during the early stages of homeownership, but as soon as a problem arises, they vanish. Their lack of accountability and professionalism is shocking. It feels like once the home is sold, they wash their hands of any responsibility. Homeowners deserve better. If you’re buying a home from D.R. Horton and this company is involved in your finishes or warranty, be aware — getting any follow-up service might be a major struggle.

The worst experience with any Builder Trade after 6 new builds. After 14-month battle with Builder to get new but damaged porcelain tile floors replaced, Ally replaced the damaged tile floors. The newly re-installed porcelain tiles are even more damaged if that's even possible. Worst part is on August 26, 2025 while at the house to inspect the ~1,300 Sq Ft of newly installed tile with the Builder Rep and Ally Rep, the Ally Rep told us "this is what the tile should look like." Absolutely abhorrent! You decide...all the while we sit in a hotel for the 15th day without an end in sight.

Kirk and Carl from Ally Buildings Solutions are men of their word and outstanding character. A test of a man is when things don't go right (which happens to every supervisor - sometimes trades have a problem, it's normal in construction), you get the job done. You step in for your team. You make things happen. I am grateful to Kirk and Carl for supporting us during a difficult time in our lives and ensuring that our house was in good standing after some unfortunate mishaps in the beginning. I worked directly with Kirk for a couple of months and he was responsive, and got the job done. He's kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He responds to texts typically in no more than 10 minutes. He is a man of his word. I'd like to thank Kirk for his work on our home. He made things right and I highly recommend him for his work. They are the worst! Do not buy a home from anyone who uses these people to do the work. They hire people from Home Depot and then tell them to tile a floor with a blindfold on. Negative 8 stars if I could. Brian with picture totally tells the truth.
