Had a fantastic experience at Daphne. I came for brunch to celebrate my friend’s birthday! I ordered the shakshuka along with a lychee mimosa, and both were excellent. The shakshuka was flavorful, comforting, and well-balanced, with a rich tomato base and perfectly cooked eggs. The lychee mimosa was refreshing, unique, and a great addition to the meal. For dessert, we shared the sorbet and the caramelized brownie. Both were perfectly sweet without being overwhelming, and they were a great way to finish the meal. The brownie was rich (but not too rich), while the sorbet was light and refreshing. The atmosphere was very modern and stylish, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the patio. It was a great setting to relax and enjoy brunch. The service was excellent throughout our visit, attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with delicious food, great drinks, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Daphne to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Toronto.
I had the Seafood Pasta, Rib Eye, Truffle Fries, King Salmon, Bread & Butter, and Beef Bolognese at Daphne Toronto and honestly, everything was outstanding. This place completely exceeded my expectations.Every dish was prepared to perfection. The seafood pasta was incredibly fresh and full of flavour, the rib eye was cooked exactly right tender, juicy, and rich. The truffle fries were addictive, perfectly crispy with just the right amount of truffle. The king salmon was beautifully done, and the beef bolognese had that deep, comforting, authentic taste you hope for. Even the bread & butter stood out with its quality.Absolutely deserves 5 stars. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional meal.
I came with my friends after the graduation. We were not that hungry but we did order some food and desserts and it was top notch. The service was so good. I forgot to get the name of the server but he was so sweet and so was everyone else there. We were in the patio. With having limited options for vegetarians, the pizza we got was so good. We even got a dessert on the house for the grads. The chocolate cake was so delicious. I am definitely going back to the place.
Had such a great experience at Daphne. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the pizzas were absolutely delicious especially the Fungi pizza and the Pepperoni pizza. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients. 🍕🦪 The restaurant itself is stunning. The interior design is honestly 10/10 beautifully decorated, stylish, and such a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy the experience. What impressed me the most was the manager’s professionalism and kindness. She handled the situation so politely, humbly, and in such a friendly way. Truly 100/10 service. That level of hospitality made me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Definitely a place that makes me want to come back again. ✨
I was invited to Daphne last night for dinner, and from the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant I was treated well. The server and staff were friendly, funny, and personable. We were supported by 3 people. I remember there were two Micheals, and there was also another gentleman, a Black gentleman, who was great. Ordered their recommended seafood dish, as well as Truffle fries, the table also had various appetitiers (mushrooms, carrots, Brussels sprouts), and we had champagne as well. We also had the sorbet, although we wanted the sticky toffee pudding initially *they ran out of it*. The sorbet trio was delicious. All of it was delicious. I saw a poor rating on here about food, a rare rating, and I do not agree with the person. We were waited on with attention, care, and humour. I mean we were also a table with numerous gals. Would highly recommend. This was the first time at Daphne, and I definitely will be back. Side note: I hope Mikey does look into laser PRK. Whomever checks these reviews go holler at your boy and persuade him. :) I hope there's sticky toffee when I go back, it seems very popular.
