Capri Bakery & Restaurant: Three Generations of Havana Cooking Since 1986

Capri Bakery & Restaurant has been a fixture on Southern Boulevard since 1986, and the family behind it is now on its third generation running the kitchen. Its motto, "El Que Prueba Vuelve" — whoever tries it, comes back — sums up nearly four decades of building loyalty one plate at a time.

Capri turns out more than 100 fresh dishes a day, spanning breakfast through dinner. The Capri Cubano Supremo pairs roast pork, ham, and Swiss cheese with pickles and mustard, pressed to order, while mornings bring Cuban coffee with steamed milk and buttered Cuban toast. Dinner mainstays include ropa vieja, bistec de palomilla, and masas de puerco fritas, plus whole roast pigs available for catering and events.
